Geocache Description:

Ammo can hidden in Alum Creek State Park. It is a typical cache-in-the-woods, and should be an easy find.

I won this cache container and most of the original contents in a raffle at an NCOG / COG picnic--hence the cache name.

The cache is less than 0.2 miles from the trailhead, where there is ample parking. The first 200 feet of the trail is a steep descent followed by a less steep ascent. This can be very muddy and very slippery after a rain. Please be careful. Depending on the time of year, you may want to leave the trail and enter the woods at the top of the first ascent. After that the vegetation between the trail and the woods gets very heavy and wide, and thorns and PI are plentiful. There is very little undergrowth in the woods; it is fairly easy walking. This cache should be fine for older children.

Thanks to the ODNR State Parks Regional Office for permission to place this cache. Please remember CITO.

Congratulations to Team JNLE4 for FTF!
