Unique Multi... Multi-Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
DO NOT PARK IN THE APARTMENT
COMPLEX/QUADPLEX CLOSEST TO STAGE 1. IT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY AND THE
POLICE WILL BE CALLED ON YOU IF YOU PARK THERE. READ THE CACHE PAGE
FOR BETTER PARKING OPTIONS!
I HAVE CHOSEN MY WORDS VERY CAREFULLY!
DO NOT READ TOO DEEPLY INTO WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN OR YOU WILL ASSUME
SOMETHING THAT I DID NOT SAY OR WRITE!
ALSO: ANOTHER HINT HAS BEEN ADDED NOW THAT THE CACHE HAS BEEN
FOUND. THE DIFFICULTY HAS ALSO BEEN CHANGED FROM A 4 TO A
2.5.
A unique multi. As of this writing, I have never seen a stage
hidden this way before! I have placed and hidden stage 1 using a
VERY unique container but the hiding style has been used before. I
don't believe this type of container has ever been used in a
physical hide. Please correct me if I am wrong in an e-mail and not
in your log post.
I ask you to PLEASE NOT write anything in your
log that would give a hint or even give away the location of stage
1 or the final. It would spoil the hunt for future
cachers.
Now that the above has been said, I will now tell you what to do to
find the cache. There really isn't a convenient place to park at
stage 1, but it is sidewalk accessible from both directions.
DO NOT PARK at the housing project next to the
site of stage 1. There are some grumpy old
men living there that will call the police. You should park in a
business parking lot located to the North of Stage 1 and walk down
the sidewalk to Stage 1.
"""NOTE""" Stage 1 is located in the right of way. DO NOT TRESPASS
ON TO THE PRIVATE PROPERTY OF THE APARTMENT COMPLEX NEAR THE POSTED
COORDINATES!!! Also, there is no need to look in the grassy
area.
At stage 1, you are looking for 3letters followed by 4 numbers.
But the second number of the 4 numbers is half covered due to a
forethought error on my part. The letters and numbers may be
VERY HARD to read for those with BAD VISION. The last 2 numbers
should be easier to read for those with less than perfect vision as
they are a bit larger than the others. Convert the 3 letters you
find to numbers using this conversion table:
A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7, H=8, I=9, J=0, K=1, L=2, M=3,
N=4, O=5, P=6, Q=7, R=8, S=9, T=0, U=1, V=2, W=3, X=4, Y=5,
Z=6
a = Value for the First Letter found at stage 1.
b = Value for the Second Letter found at stage 1.
c = Value for the Third Letter found at stage 1.
d = The First Number found at stage 1.
e = THE SECOND NUMBER IS NOT USED DUE TO MY ERROR!.
f = The Third number at stage 1 which covers half of the 2nd
number.
g = The Fourth, number found at stage 1
The final cache is located at
N33 48.(g+d-a)(b-f+d)(g-d) W084 0(b).(c)(d-f)(a)
To avoid confusion, lower case 'a' is NOT
equal to Capital 'A', lower case 'b' is NOT equal to Capital 'B',
and so on...
The final is a short drive away and
is a small Lock-n-Lock container.
REMEMBER. Please do not post anything in your log that would expose
a hint or even give away the locations of Stage 1 or the
Final.
NOTE ON STAGE 1 (12/1/2009) Stage 1 was
physically hidden by me! A hunter found a plate attached to the
power pole with the following information.
GTC MA 230S
STA #16 (traced in black)
STS 12/08
09-10265 3632
FT-K
This is NOT stage 1!
Thanks and good luck on your hunt.
I am truly honored to give the FTF award
of this unique multi cache to:
Smiling in Ackworth
Barbara and Sam have truly proven that they are the real number one
cachers in Georgia!
Congratulations to you
both!
