CONGRADULATIONS TO THE CACHE CHECKERS ~ FTF!
6 Months before I started Geocaching, my Mom passed away.But being out in the fresh air and learning about caching, took my mind off my grief. My Mom was a real people person and enjoyed traveling. Even if her travels took her somewhere she had never been before, with people she didn't know very know very well ~ she was always up for it. She always used to tell me, " Take a different road, & not just on the way home." While physical exertion was not top on her list, she did love a good adventure. So my first hide is in her honor. One of her final resting places is not far from the cache site (N41`18.659~W081'14.969), if you want, stop by & tell her what a great daughter she raised. ~ The cache is hidden on the edge of the new part of West Lawn Cemetery. I wanted it a little closer to my Mom, but someone else already had a cache nearby for their Gramps. This place has a lot of local heroes, friends, & family who all have a story of their own so please be respectful.
