In the Njáls saga it is written that many years ago, Ingjaldur was living in Keldur. After Chief Flosi and his men destroyed the farm of Njál they came to Keldur to clear with Ingjaldur, because he promised Flosi to join him but he didn't do it because his daughter had a child from Njàl, so he stayed at home in Keldur and it was the reason of the fight in Keldur between Flosi and Ingjaldur. More infos about the Njáls saga can be found in the Saga center of Hvollsvöllur.
The cache is situated on the left side of the road which leads to Keldur under a group of big stones.
