This cache was hidden as a THANK YOU to all who maintain and have placed caches along the PINE MOUNTAIN TRAIL.
Park near The Rangers Cabin (GCZEQV) at N 37° 14.027 W 082° 24.988
Go through the gate and you will be on a blue blazed trail that will take you to the top of Pine Mountain. Be sure to read all of the signs along the trail (that is what's left of them...some were vandalized) to learn some of the local history and information of the area. When you reach the yellow blazed Pine Mountain trail take a right to this cache. If you want some more very beautiful views also,check out the caches on The Pine Mountain to the left on the yellow blazed trail toward Birch Knob tower.
REMEMBER THIS WILL BE A LONG TOUGH HIKE SO TAKE THINGS THAT YOU WILL NEED...ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME, WATER AND SNACKS FOR SURE.
Thanks again for bringing us to The Pine Mountain trail. This is a really nice area to hike and cache.
