This cache is located in a tiny little park on the edge of a river on a one way street. There is a nice jetty there with a bench seat to sit and watch the river traffic passing by (or on which to sit while signing the log).
The park where this cache is located is dedicated to the memory of Austin Gilchrist and was dedicated in April, 1986.
This area of parkland was dedicated in memory of "Aussie" Gilchrist.
He was a Chevron Island resident from 1970 to 1985. Aussie was fondly known as 'King of the Kids' for his dedicated work making toys for Chevron Island children and local charities.
You will need your thinking caps on for this one. If you've seen this type of cache before you'll probably spot it easily. Please take your own writing implement to sign the log.
Replace cache carefully, and straight, as you've found it. Thanks.
HERBZ took FTF honours for this cache. Congratulations! (I know you know what this cache looks like, but well done.)
