Vine City Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

weedwhackerguy: With a heavy heart, I must say goodbye to one of my favorite caches. amy.e.landon was 100% correct in her assessment that the cache may be gone. I drove by today after work and indeed the cache, the tree, the entire forest has been cleared out. It had a good run...161 finds, no DNF's, and it raked in 39 favorite points. I'm very sorry for the travel pieces that may or may not have been in there. I will post them as missing

Geocache Description:

It's so hard to be original with you guys because so many of you have found hundreds and thousands of caches! This one is definitely not hard to find, but I hope it may be a little different. In a small patch of woods, (I really love small patches of woods), is a container just big enough for small trade items. It is close to the intersection of Akers Mill and Cumberland Blvd. and as far as parking, there is a dead end road at the traffic light just west of the cache site. Remember to use the pedestrian crossing to access. And as always, please put back exactly as originally found.

This is a "mechanical cache" As soon as you get close to GZ, you KNOW where it is, but you have to do something to be able to access the cache. The problem with these types of caches is that sometimes they break down or malfunction. If you notice something thats not right, please let me know. Thanks

******Congrats to Smiling in Acworth for another FTF******
