AL KARAANA CACHE

This cache
is on the southbound side of Salwa Road. It can be done en route to
a number of other caches in the Southern Region - Yousef
Replacement, Top of Qatar, Qatar Reef, Sharks Teeth and others. The
area is not very interesting apart from the few camels that can be
found near the cache location and the breaking of the monotony of
Salwa Road. This is a road side cache in the true sense of the word
and was placed on the spur of the moment as we were driving
passed.
During
weekends, especially Fridays, Salwa Road is normally very quiet
without all the trucks on the road and it is a pleasure to drive
down.Â
