A huge rock in Mt. Haguro
Daidarabo is a regendary giant that is well known at many regions in Japan. He is known as some different name according to the region; Daidaraboushi, Daidarabochi, Deidarabo and so on.
Mt. Haguro (Hight of 458m) in Utsunomiya-city is said that was made in huge quantities of earth which was dropped by Daidarabo on the way from Mt. Haguro in Yamagata Pref. long time ago.
The Daidarabo rock is a big rock of about 10m(33feet) hight, and stay alone in the woods of Mt. Haguro. And it is also said that Daidarabo carried this big rock.
* There are no parking lot. You must park your car on the side of path carfully, or walk 800m on the path from parking lot at the foot of mountain.

だいだら坊の岩
だいだら坊は，日本全国に見られる巨人伝説で，地域によって，ダイダラボウシ，ダイダラボッチ，デイダラボウなどの違った呼び名で知られています。
宇都宮市の羽黒山（標高458m）は，大昔にだいだら坊が山形県の羽黒山から土を運んでいる途中で，この地に落としていった土の山といわれています。
また，「だいだら坊の岩」は，羽黒山中にポツンと置いてあるような高さが10m程もある大岩で，これもだいだら坊が運んできたといわれています。
※ 駐車場がありませんので，林道が広がっている場所を見つけて駐車するか，ふもとの駐車場から800m程歩く必要があります。
