in our disclaimer.
This cache is in the small village of Bryning-with-Warton on a pathway leading to The Lancashire Coastal Way, a footpath which follows the northwest coastline and provides panoramic views of the estuary and is ideal for bird watcher enthusiasts.
The village of Bryning-with-Warton is part of the borough of Fylde and is about six miles from Preston and eight miles from Blackpool. It is located on the banks of the River Ribble, close to its entry into the Irish Sea. It is best known for its airfield, BAE Warton and its associated aircraft works of BAE Systems Military Air Solutions. A range of aircraft can been seen taking off and landing from this cache, as the BAE runway is close by.
This is a Traditional cache in a water tight container and holds a log book and a pen to record your visit. You will need suitable footwear as the path can get muddy during periods of wet weather.
Other Excellent caches close by are Lancashire Coastal Way, Series of 8 by Aphok.
