Geocache Description:

A micro next to one of our fave New Town spots. And our first hide!

Sadly, the coffee house that gave Port Java its name has shut down. A bakery called Cakealicious has taken its place, but no custom roasted beans. Port Java, however, is open for business. Not exactly on the beaten path of New Town but well worth the effort. A larger-than normal micro so there might be room for small trade items (coins, for example). You’ll need your own writing instrument. Cooperspak recommends a ballpoint pen. They’re great. It's tick season so give yourself (or your caching partner) a good tick check afterwards.

And how is it possible that there’s a seaport in a swampy tidewater lowland? Hmmmm…

Big cooperspak FTF kudos to Colonial Cats. We've found enough of their caches, after all :-)
