This is not difficult for a high clearance vehicle, NOT suitable the last 1.5 mile for a passenger car. 4WD might be needed in wet conditions.
In keeping with all my caches, this is 1. difficult to reach or, 2. of historical significance or, 3. BOTH. This is mostly a 2 with a little 1 mixed in. Bring a pen or pencil, since the cache is too small into which to place a pen. The Oatman family were Morman pilgrims who met an untimely fate at this location. Their story is absolutely fascinating and in the 1850's this event was sensational news on a national level. I have left some historical contexts in the cache.
