K2D2: This cache had a great run! I may replace it someday, but for now it's out of date enough to archive and start over. Thanks for all the finds over the years!

Geocache Description:

Join me for a short walk around a small town with a great collection of public art!

In October 2009, the little town of Eatonville celebrated its 100th anniversary of incorporation. A lot has changed since the early days of the town, when its primary industry was based on logs brought in by the timber cruisers and lumber hauled away by the railroads!

One thing that has not changed is Eatonville's love of parades. The Centennial Celebration had one, of course, and every 4th of July the town hosts one of the best parades around, despite its small size. The parade begins at the library; marches down Center Street toward Mount Rainier, past the Town Hall, Fire Station, and Post Office; makes a hard left onto Mashell Avenue; proceeds through the heart of town; and ends by the newly remodeled High School. In December, there's a Christmas parade, which follows the same route in reverse.

This cache celebrates Eatonville's Centennial by taking you through a series of waypoints along the summer parade route, and then back to your starting point along Washington Avenue past the Elementary and Middle Schools. Along the way, you'll get to see some of the great artwork that's hidden throughout the town: paintings, carvings, sculptures, stained glass windows, and historic marquees.

The cache is not at the listed coordinates. At those coordinates you will find a brand new city park with picnic tables and public restrooms. There is street parking nearby, and it's a short walk to the beginning of our parade route at waypoint A.

To solve this puzzle, visit each of the waypoints and look for a piece of artwork matching one of the photos below. The number next to the photo will tell you what number to assign to that waypoint. The final cache can be found nearby at these coordinates:
