Ein Tradi mit Blick auf Fusch, direkt am Weg nach Bad Fusch. ########## A traditional Cache with a view over Fusch !????
Der Name Fusch ist vordeutsch und kommt vermutlich von "fusca" (=die Dunkle, womit wohl die Ache gemeint ist). Erste Erwähnung im Jahre 923 anläßlich einer Waldschenkung. Das Gemeindegebiet hat eine Ausdehnung von 15.800 ha und ist somit die siebentgrößte Gemeinde des Landes. Einwohnerzahlmäßig ist Fusch mit ca. 800 Bewohnern eine Kleingemeinde. In Fusch herrscht ein reges Vereinsleben, das die Bevölkerung untereinander verbindet und viele Aktivitäten setzt.

The National Park village Fusch has always been an important alpine transit town, connecting the villages north and south of the Alps. Not long ago, an ancient knife - dated 2000 BC - was found on the eastern foot of the Brennkogel mountain.
