One of a small series of caches placed around Ogden Water Country Park and Nature Reserve. Ogden Water is a very popular attraction for families, dog walkers and organised events. Weekends are particularly busy, so stealth will be required. All day parking is available for a donation of 50 pence, but the car park does close at dusk, so it is advisable to check the notice board. Ogden Water Visitor Centre is open from 10am to 4pm, everyday, for light refreshments and information.
This cache has been placed with the kind permission of Yorkshire Water and the Estate Manager at Ogden.
The 'Fairy Ring' is actually an outdoor class room which is used for educational visits and again, was funded by the Breathing Spaces programme. If unoccupied, it is also a nice place to stop for lunch or a rest. As gps signal will be poor here, we are providing a fairly generous hint. Please note that this cache is located within the woodland and can only be accessed from within the woods or by entering the woods from the lakeside path.
