Geocache Description:

The cache – our first - is a micro, with little room for anything but very small items. Bring your own pen/pencil to sign the log.

We have fond memories of this little Berkeley park. Our kids had gone to the school next door and spent countless hours hanging out in this park. Things change - after our kids moved on, they tore down the old school and beautifully rebuilt it, and at the same time, restored Blackberry Creek through the upgraded park. So it’s the same, but different - even more friendly.

It is a popular park among the neighborhood families, so it may be difficult at times to retrieve the cache without being observed. If there is a party or picnic happening, it will be impossible. This is the only reason why Difficulty is assigned 1.5.

Do not go through the school yard. As with the other Berkeley parks, it is open during daylight hours, but closed at night.

Coordinates verified by averaging over several days and checking against TerraServer.
