This CITO Event will be held from 9:30am to 11:30am in Otsuki-shi on Sunday, November 8th.
Please come to Saruhashi Park and help clean up this beautiful area. Because of the recent typhoon, lots of garbage has gathered along the riverbank as well as the normal trash that collects in a public area.
Permission and a donation of garbage bags has been given by the Otsuki-shi Living Environment Department. Please bring your own gloves. I will have water for everyone, but if you want food after the event, please bring your own. There are plenty of places in the park to enjoy a meal, as well as many new caches nearby!
Please meet at the above coordinates at 9:30 to sign the logbook and enter the raffle for an unactivated geocoin. Take the opportunity to meet other caches, help the environment, and have fun. If you can't make it at 9:30, don't worry, the event will run for at least two hours. Come when you can.
If anyone is good at both English and Japanese and would like to volunteer to help me translate at the event, I would really appreciate it. The event will only be canceled for heavy rain. Light rain is okay.
Bring your travel bugs for discovering and exchanging. Parking is available in two locations around the park. The event is an easy 15 minute walk from Saruhashi Station.
