Geocache Description:

A pleasant 10 min walk from the road will lead you to this cache. NOTE - not very accessible in the Summer due to the nettle growth in the area. Rest of the year they will have died down sufficiently to access the cache but you need to be reasonably fit :-)

Travelling along a roman road, north west, stop by a Bridle path sign. Note although there is room to park by this sign, there is another sign advising you to not block the gate, so may need to travel further up/down the road to pull over. Put your wellies on and follow the hoof prints! The cache is at ground level and you need to go a little bit into the woods. Watch out for nettles - long trousers and maybe gloves advised in Summer. As per the log, this replaces the original cache which I was unable to find! Even though others have been able to recently. So if you come across a pink Vanish container a)please let me know, and b) that is the old one, keep looking! (the new one is not in a Vanish container) If seeking this one in Winter, it gets very muddy. Enjoy the local countryside, it's a particularly pretty part of Northamptonshire.
