Line Shack Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

EN-ville: This cache has been plagued by either wildlife digging out the container or poor replacement. I love the location but will not be in the area for awhile. Best to open it up for somebody else to hide one.

Geocache Description:

An easy find at a curious dilapidated shack and tack room that appears to date from the 1930s.

In exploring the National Forest between Munds Park and Mormon Lake we happened upon this structure. There is an inscription on the concrete hearth that says 1930. The nature of the structure seemed to call for a cache so that others might enjoy the history.

Due to the present status of the structure I would use caution if you explore the interior. Internal exploration is not required to make the find for this reason even though it made the hide more difficult and far easier for seekers.
