Geocache Description:

A puzzle/two part multi cache where you will learn something about Boy Scouting and see some of the work done by these Eagle scouts. The coordinates shown are for parking only. Bring your own pencil.

Scouting has been a major part of our lives for many years. Whether being a Cub or Boy Scout, a Scout leader, or a committee member, it was something almost all in our family have participated in.

This geocache is hidden in a park that a few scouts from Penfield Troop 9 and other troops have completed their Eagle projects in. Their projects have improved this area on behalf of the Genesee Land Trust. To learn more about the Genesee Land Trust and their land preservation and protection program: http://geneseelandtrust.org/.

To find the 1st set of coordinates for this cache, you must complete this simple puzzle. This will educate you on some basic facts about Boy Scouting. All of the answers can be found on the Boy Scout web site: http://www.scouting.org/ We hope you will take advantage of this entire trail system. You will even come across a couple of these Eagle projects on your hike.
