8Nuts MotherGoose is moving to Texas soon!!

It’s sad but true, but this could be the last time you see these geocachers who have been an influential and important part of the Clinton and surrounding area’s geocaching community. I, for one, am very sorry to see them go. 8Nuts has been an invaluable source of information and a wealth of experience to learn from as I cut my teeth in the wonderful sport of geocaching.

So, fellow cachers, come one, come all, to a pizza party celebrating and honoring 8Nuts MotherGoose’s contributions to our little game before they permanently leave the area and “seek” warmer climates!! Bring stories to swap and if you wish, coins and TBs to discover and/or trade.

There will be a special commemorative cache hide at this event (GC1ZT3W) that you will be able to find and claim a smiley. This cache will not be published and become available to the public until after the Event. Once it is published, you will be able to log your find. The cache description and coordinates for this cache will be found at the the Event location, so you will have to come to this Event to get them!

If you can make it, please post a “will attend” log with number attending so I can provide the restaurant with this information prior to the event!!

Where: Godfather’s Pizza, 1841 Lincolnway, Clinton, IA
What: Meal at your expense (check with me for coupons!), but conversation and camaraderie is free!
When: Sunday, November 8, 2009 Noon-??? (you know how chatty geocachers can get )

Just an FYI for those interested...8Nuts needs to leave around 3PM to go and feed "The Bear". If you would like to participate in providing sustenance in an effort to find "The Bear", this is your chance.
