Geocache Description:

This cache is located on top of what is locally known as Fox Mountain. It requires a difficult ascent up a steep slope.

Park at the end of Coppin Road. Follow the trails - the way points are corners or trail junctions. Cross the beaver dam when you get to it to start up the steep slope on the other side of the dam. Follow the steep trail on the other side of dam heading up on the trail, being careful with your footing. When you get to the top there are a number of lookouts. Pay attention there is only one decent trail back which is the same one you will come in on, it is not flagged. Allow at least 3 hours. Bring a cell phone. The cache is NOT near the edge. Enjoy the view. With more than a few inches of snow this cache will not be discoverable. This one of the best views in the Nor Westers!!
