This cache is along Coquihalla River Trail which is part of the
Trans Canada Trail which meets up with the KVR (Kettel Valley
Railway). To get to this cache you will need to bike, walk or jog
down the trail, this road is not open to moter vehicles but through
on the Britton Creek side there is a trail around the gate. This
trail runs from Portia Station to Britton Creek Rest Area spanning
24.5 kms. This trail offers spectacular views, tree cover, and even
a pleasant veil-like waterfall. Vestiges of the train years
such as telephone poles, railroad ties, bridge abutments,
extraordinary rock retaining walls, etc. can also be found
here.

This cache will bring you to a old shack along the KVR, this is
UP by a old tressel that had now fallen.

This will require around a 15-30 minute round trip hike up from
the Coquihalla River Trail. I suggest hiking up the little valley
and come up between what is left of the old tressel. I did this
with my 12 year old and wasn't that difficult of a hike up. The old
shack can be seen from the trail below.
