not so easy ding and dash
At our cache site you will find the steel cast bell that first hung at the old Franklin school.
Years ago the old school was razed and rebuilt just around the corner. In its place was erected the Charles E White branch of the Onondaga County public library.The branch was named for his 36 years of service in the school system.The bell was placed here at that time back in 1925.
We worked with branch manager Renate Dunsmore in getting permission to place this cache.
Aran West is the adult services librarian who may be able to help you if you have any trouble finding our cache.

It goes without saying that you will only be able to find our bell cache during normal library hours
