Geocache Description:

GENERAL RULES FOR CACHING IN IRAQ: This cache is located in a war zone. It is on a coalition controlled installation. You will need proper credentials to gain access to the area. Do not post logs that give any references to what is around the cache site or might otherwise compromise OPSEC.

***I will save you the hassle- cache is not located on the adjacent island. The challenge is locating the right route. If you see any 'uninviting' signs, you are need to go a different direction***

L'Etoile du Nord. This cache is in honor of my homestate of Minnesota. "L'Etoile du Nord" is the State Motto, and for those who don't know any French, it means "The North Star". Not much can compare to a cold Minnesota night with a clear sky gleaming the North Star, Big Dipper, and the aurora borealis.

The inspiration for this cache is from 'Thanks Mr. Bremer!'. As the most southern cache, it made me think there was a need for a most northern most cache. I wanted to celebrate Minnesota (the most northern state in the continental US) with the northern cache.

This cache is an Altoid container. Although I dont have any significant swag for the FTF, I dropped a couple trackables from Minnesota instead.
