A level walk along the Tissington Trail
Park at the Hartington Signal box Pay and Display and follow the track towards Parsley Hay. The cache is a small cammod clip top box with a few small swaps in. There were great views when we placed this cache.
The Tissington Trail follows the route of the old London and North-Western railway route between Buxton and Ashbourne It was opened in 1899 and closed it in 1966. The line was purchased by the Peak National Park and Derbyshire County Council in 1971 and reopened as the Tissington Trail, for cyclists and walkers.
