Warning: Beware of barbed wire near the cache location.
A Calgary area cacher met an untimely death one All Hallows' Even. Mr. F. Bacon was climbing a high tree in an attempt to reach a cache when an unfortunate series of events occurred.
A weak branch broke, and Bacon fell. He landed partly on a wire fence, which sliced through his neck and decapitated him. His severed head rolled downhill and into an irrigation canal.
T. Howard, Bacon’s horrified caching companion, chased after the head. Before he could reach it, though, a coyote grabbed the body part and dashed off across a field. Howard continued his pursuit, and the canine eventually dropped his prize. A large hawk then swooped down, grabbed the head, and flew away.
As far as I can determine, nobody ever saw Bacon's head again. Exactly one year later, however, this note appeared in the log book of the cache where the accident happened:

The original cache was a waterproof match container inside a skull beneath a bucket, but that has disappeared. You're now looking for a bison tube inside some camouflage.
Good luck. And be safe.
Congratulations to BVPete for the FTF.
