Vorgeschichte

Dieser Cache führt euch zu einer Stadt in Niederösterreich mit dem Namen Gänserndorf. Der Ursprung des Namens ist nicht ganz geklärt, vermutlich aber darauf zurückzuführen, dass hier früher Gänse in großen Scharen gehalten wurden. Seit einigen Jahren zieren um die 40 Kunstoffgänse in verschiedenen Bemalungen die Straßen und Plätze der Stadt. Sie sind Werbung für die Einkaufsstraßen, fördern die Attraktivität des Ortsbildes und sind Bestandteil dieses (Micro-)Caches.

Aufgabe

Bevor ihr jedoch loscachen könnt, müsst ihr das folgende Rätsel lösen:

Stellt euch vor, es gibt fünf Gänse, die nebeneinander in einer Reihe stehen. Jede Gans hat einen anderen Namen, sitzt auf einem anderen Untergrund, hat ein anderes Lieblingsessen, ein anderes Alter und bewacht einen anderen Schatz (hierzu zählt auch der Cache).
Folgende Hinweise sind gegeben:

• Gesine steht ganz links.
• Geierine sitzt im Sand.
• Gunnar bewacht wertvolle Briefmarken.
• Giselle isst gerne Brot.
• Die Gans, die im Gras sitzt, steht direkt links von der Gans auf der Erde.
• Die Gans, die im Gras sitzt, isst gerne Äpfel.
• Die Gans, die 10 Jahre alt ist, bewacht Goldbarren.
• Die mittlere Gans isst gerne Hafer.
• Die Gans, die im Wasser schwimmt, ist 1 Monat alt.
• Die Gans, die 5 Jahre alt ist, steht neben der, die Diamanten bewacht.
• Die Gans, die alte Münzen bewacht, sitzt neben der, die 1 Monat alt ist.
• Die Gans, die 2 Jahre alt ist, isst gerne Weizen.
• Gesine ist neben der Gans, die im Heu sitzt.
• Gustav ist 6 Monate alt.
• Die Gans, die 5 Jahre alt ist, ist gleich neben der, die gerne Möhren isst.

Final-Koordinaten

Hast du das Rätsel gelöst, kannst du nun die Final-Koordinaten berechnen. Nimm hierzu die Attribute des Namens, des Untergrunds, des Essens und des Alters von der Gans, die den Cache bewacht und ersetze sie durch die dazugehörige Zahlen:

Du findest den Cache bei N 48° 20.Name Untergrund E 16° 43.Essen Alter

Bewacht z.B. Gunnar den Cache, sitzt im Heu, isst gerne Äpfel und ist 10 Jahre alt, dann wäre die Endkoordinate: N 48° 20.310 E 16° 43.359

Bitte versteckt den Cache wieder so, dass er auch wieder gut fixiert ist.

History

This cache will lead you to a town in Lower Austria called Gänserndorf (means: geese village). The origin of this name is still unexplained. Probably, it has its origin in the past where many geese were kept here. For a couple of years, 40 plastic geese painted in different colors decorate the streets and places of this town. They are a kind of advertising for the shopping streets, supporting the image of the town and are a part of this (micro-)cache.

The Task

You have to solve the following mystery:

Imagine, there are five geese standing side by side. Every goose has a different name, is sitting on a different underground, likes a different food, is in a different age and guards another treasure (among other things also the cache).
The following information is given:

• Gesine stands on the leftmost side.
• Geierine sits in the sand.
• Gunnar guards valuable stamps.
• Giselle likes to eat bread.
• The goose which sits in the grass, stands directly to the left of the goose on the ground.
• The goose which sits in the grass, likes apple.
• The goose which is 10 years old, guards gold bullions.
• The goose in the center likes to eat oat.
• The goose which sits in the water, is 1 month old.
• The goose which is 5 years old stands next to the goose which guards diamonds.
• The goose which guards old coins, sits next to the 1 month old goose.
• The 2 years old goose likes to eat wheat.
• Gesine is next to the goose which sits in the hay.
• Gustav is 6 months old.
• The 5 years old goose is next to the goose which likes to eat carrots.

Which goose guards the cache? You can use the above mentioned table (see german text).

Final Coordinates

If you solved the mystery, you can calculate the final coordinates in the following way: Take the attributes of the name, the underground, the food and the age of the goose which guards the cache and substitute them with the following numbers:

For instance, if Gunnar guards the cache, sits in the hay, likes to eat apple and is 10 years old then the final coordinates are: N 48° 20.310 E 16° 43.359.
