Geocache Description:


A new nature reserve has been created on the site of the old Springfield Mill. This is owned and managed by the Midlothian Ranger Service. Until recently it was a derelict site, but it has been converted with a paved walkway, viewing deck for the river and opportunities to go for a walk in the woodlands and maybe see some local wildlife. It is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers to get to about 15 feet of the cache. This is a standard lock and lock box, which has space for travel bugs, geocoins and other small items. This cache could easily be combined with Polton Lest we forget (GC1C54K).
