seldom|seen: Another one that I just need to let go of given the current property restrictions. I love a cache that puts you a bit out of your comfort zone and this one was certainly that. Indeed, of all the over-water placements, I think this one gave me more heart-in-throat moments than any other. As a rule I don't use TOTT's, unless nature provides them, and getting to this one without one could be quite precarious, precisely why I enjoyed it so much since I am a terrible swimmer (ask Sagasu). But fear not, there are others hanging out there....

Geocache Description:

Every cache in the Old Man series requires you to muster up just a little bit of inner resolve and go for it. Some might even consider them dangerous. If you are not comfortable with their retrieval, take someone along who is or just take them off of your to-do list.

The Old Man has a knack for loosing his tackle or having critters sequester them when he isn't looking, so when he see's a lure or a bobber hanging out near the shore he's always eager for the challenge of recovering them to replenish his stash.

The Old Man was out out walking one of his favorite shorelines for catching crappie when he spotted a real nice jig just hanging out there. He was just mustering up the courage to go after it when he got creeped out by the sounds of some spirits messing about near-by and decided to leave it hanging. Maybe you can muster up the courage to grab it for him?
