The Band That Wouldn't Die -
Ressurected!
A "Flash Cache" Event Cache   on
Saturday, November 14th at 10:00 am

The "band" will be assembling at 10:00 and march around the perimeter of Lucas Oil Stadium.    We will finish our performance within the 15 minute time frame of this event.

Please wear the appropriate
Indianapolis Colts
attire and if possible, bring
some type of "musical" instrument
- Mr. I! will playing kazoo!

PLEASE NOTE:  You don't need any musical talent
or instrument to play in our band!
  

ESPN is currently airing a documentary (The Band That Wouldn't Die) about the Baltimore Colts Marching Band.  A band that stayed and played together for years after the Colts left Baltimore for Indianapolis.

Mr. Incredible! has been a Colts fan for about 45 years.  Johnny Unitas, Raymond Berry, John Mackey, Bubba Smith, Ted Hendricks, and the rest of the Colts of the 60's and '70s were his heroes when he was MUCH younger!  

What better way to show off that pride than to march around the brand-new home of the Indianapolis Colts in the middle of the football season!

We will meet at the Southwest corner of W. South Street and S. Capitol Ave at 10:00 on November 14th.

A Flash Mob Cache Event (aka A Flash Cache Event)

You MUST be present and sign the log sheet DURING this time to claim the event. Please BYOP! (Bring your own pen)

We would like to host a caching event to bring together geocachers and introduce others (newbies) to the hobby.

This event, however, will be quite unique, creative, be the first of it's kind (as far as we know of) and might be the best event cache you've EVER been to! (but don't get your hopes up...)

You've heard of mega-events? This is quite the opposite in a variety of ways. Flash mobs have gathered for other reasons (see Flash Mobs on Wikipedia).

The event will last exactly 15 minutes, not one second longer.  The event will begin at precisely 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14th.  

The event will be held at N 39° 45.683 W 086° 09.729. This is in an open public space, by Lucas Oil Field in downtown Indianapolis. The event will seemingly be highly organized and will hopefully be facilitated by volunteers. A minute by minute itinerary will be posted below in the coming weeks. We will also have printed copies of this ultra-precise itinerary distributed at the event.

Mr. I! has aquired some kazoos, so come on out, even if you don't have an instrument!

The idea of this event is to "appear" as if from nowhere...  Hide yourself, as best you can near the posted coords before 10:00.
(You could even "hide out" in the Colts Pro Shop!)

At 10:00, head out to the corner and sign in, there will be several clipboards to sign.
We need to have a song to "play," any ideas?

Bring a food item, and Mr. Incredible!
