A small plastic box placed in a popular local walking spot. Although near a tennis court it is not a public one and so no need to bring your racquet!
The fields and grasslands are an area where many locals walk their dogs or older children head off to play by themselves. It is close to an area where the local community gather for a bonfire and fireworks every November the 5th.
It is an easy walk along established pathways and as such should be accessible to most mobile people young and old alike. Maybe muddy in times of heavy rain.
By following the paths you can continue the walk to one of the nearby villages for refreshments or else circle back and head for home.
Look out for Muggles of the Human and Dog variety. A mix of views on the way depending on route taken, ranging from field and farmland, to a local youth football club and the town water tower.
A nearby sign states “the fields are being managed for their floristic value and no fertilisers are applied”, but to be aware that a hay cut takes place in July and after this there may be animals grazing, in which case dogs should be kept on a lead.
**Parking is on public roads and so please be considerate to the house owners** you will have to walk to find the cache; you can not drive to it.
