Geocache Description:

Top of Chapultepec Hill overlooking Ensenada. If you're in the port/flag/ area, it's the prominent hill to the NW with a visible retaining wall at the summit. A paved road leads up the side of the hill to the top. There is a more direct route straight up the face of the hill via a trail. If you're short on time, take the trail. It is a dirt path that leads to the top but it's steeper and gravel can be a pain on a hill that steep. Cache located in the retaining wall at the top of the hill.

Small $1 silver earbud container. Located in a crack of the exterior side of the retaining wall behind a movable, stone wedged into place. Look at any crevices in the wall. Contains log and pencil. If a muggle catches on, clue them in. The locals are very interested. There are caching introduction notes in Spanish (and English) included in the log (just point and they'll read the rest). Please replace cache as found (no silver showing). Muggle activity is very high at this, the best view of Ensenada.

Consolation: Even if this turns out to be a DNF for you, know that you will have viewed Ensenada from the best possible vantage point (it is a local hangout/lovers' lane). Well worth the jaunt, if you ask me.

History: This pill container bison tube was the original cache used but it went missing and was presumed muggled. However, after replacing the cache container, the container got pushed too far into the crack rendering it irretrievable. When I returned to replace the cache yet again, the original cache had returned. Odd, huh? Maybe the muggle converted? I added a Spanish and English cache explanation so maybe next time a muggle discovers it, they can find out what it is at the location and not have to take it home with them. *Update* The cache went missing again. It was replaced in a different location. Coords have been updated as well. Will consider moving the cache to a less visually stunning location or turning it into a ghost cache if the cache continues to be muggled away.
