Gone But Not Forgotten Traditional Cache

This cache is located in the old Kopperl Cemetary. The actually location of the hiding place is covered in thorns and brush. You are looking for a 9 inch long, silver container with a screw off lid.
Kopperl was founded in 1881. Named after Galveston banker and railroad tycoon Moritz Kopperl, the town was established as a regional shipping point along the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway. The population peaked at 329 in 1904 before declining to 225 by the 1970's, a figure it has maintained fairly consistently since.
Shortly after midnight on June 15, 1960, a freak meteorological phenomenon struck the community when a dying thunderstorm collapsed over Kopperl. The storm had rained itself out, and with little to no precipitation to cool the resulting downdrafts, superheated air was expended upon the community in the form of extremely hot wind gusts of up to 75 MPH. The temperature increased rapidly, peaking near 140° Fahrenheit (60° Celsius); twenty degrees above the official all-time high for the state of Texas. The storm, known as "Satan's Storm" by locals, soon became part of local folklore.
This town is very small and out of the way. This cache is placed in the oldest section of the cemetary going back to the 1880's. Many of the graves in this part of the cemetary are of railroad workers and thier families and a few Confederate Civil War era soldiers. There are also a lot of children and graves only marked with stones from the mid-19th century.
The difficulty level of the cache is due to the remoteness of the location, and the over growth, thorns and under brush. I also did my best to get the most accurate GPS reading but with trees I was only able to get the accuracy down to 12 meters.
