This is the fortieth
installment of the ever-popular mid-week monthly Sussex cachers
get-together. An opportunity for some geochat and to put faces to
those names you read in the logs. If you've not been to one of
these meets before don't be shy, please come along, you will be
made most welcome!
This month we are at
The Devils
Dyke, Dyke Road, Poynings, Brighton, BN1 8YJ.
Please note, that unless you are a National Trust member there
is a charge of £2 for parking.
Devils Dyke is
situated on the South Downs just outside Brighton. The hills
surrounding the valley offer views of The Weald, and – on a
clear day – the Isle of Wight. It is the site of ramparts,
all that remain of an Iron Age hillfort, and of course, the
pub!
The meet starts at
7pm on Wednesday 20th July 2011.
All are welcome, this event is not
exclusively for cachers from Sussex!
