WGA2: Hello,
Recently we were contacted by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources regarding your cache. It turns out that your cache is inside of the Dells Of The Eau Claire River State Natural Area (SNA). http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/er/sna/sna109.htm
Per the DNR policy http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/parks/other/geocache.html, geocaches are not allowed in State Natural Areas. In the past geocaches were allowed into SNAs if they were placed prior to the DNR prohibiting them or if there were some extenuating circumstances. Unfortunately, the DNR is now insisting that all geocaches inside of SNAs need to be removed regardless of the circumstances.
I would like to thank you for your contribution to geocaching, and for bringing people to this special place. It has been a good run.
At your earliest convenience, please remove this geocache from the SNA.
