Geocache Description:

Another world in the eyes of a child.

This cache is placed in an area that brings back a lot of childhood memories for me. I used to spend hours up in this area as a kid – hiking, exploring, and pretending to get lost in another world. My grandmother lived nearby and had practically a back door entrance to this other world. My favorite place was walking along a path that took me up high on the cliff face (as a child, I had no fear!). Fortunately, I am older and wiser now and will not take you anywhere near the cliffs.

This area provides a venue for various hobbies – including sledding, mushroom hunting, and now, geocaching!!

A few of my hides recently have been higher in difficulty, so I thought I better put out something a little bit easier for a change of pace. The terrain rating is for a "direct route" access to this cache. If you take more of a round-about route to the cache, the terrain rating is much easier! You are looking for a barely hidden small lock-and-lock container that has some swag to start with and has room for small trinkets and trackable items. Be sure to bring your own pen/pencil!!
