On the refuge topo map the word French is next to a benchmark symbol on this summit. The names of the other mountain peaks are in larger font and we've not found this summit referred to by name anyplace else. We don't think it has an official name so we named it French Summit.
The summit is about 1 mile from a trailhead near refuge headquarters. Vertical rise is 430 feet.
It's a two part multi-cache. Both items you're looking for are man made. To claim this cache email Boots Walker answers to the 3+1 questions below.
The first item will be easily recognizable as a man made structure.

The second item is a round metal survey marker disk.

It is placed on top of a rock outcropping near the highest point of the summit. We got a good Sprint PCS signal while standing on these rocks. It faded as soon as we left the summit.
