Geocache Description:

Dedicated to my buddy McBee.

Bee came to us just under a year ago when he was 8 weeks old thru the Dogs For Autism program that places service-dogs-to-be in a foster home to be raised & trainied until the dogs are ready to be placed with their special needs family.

After a few short months of puppy raising McBee was brought in to have some testing done by the pros in order to see if he would be the correct fit for the program. A nail-biting week of testing & waiting resulted in a decision that would change our lives.

McBee was found to have a few traits that would NOT allow him to go on any further in his service dog training. We had first option at adopting him or be given another puppy to raise in the program. The choice was really not a choice at all. We fell in love w/ the little monster the moment he stepped paw into our home.

We are very fortunate to have him as part of our family. His obedience training is going extremely well. Our family couldn't ask be a better buddy.

He just celebrated his 1st birthday October 11th.

The cache itself is located at Pelham Mill Park & Historic area.

Be careful after a heavy rain as the area is known to flood.

Container is a peanut butter sized jar.
