Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the co-ordinates listed above, they point to the beginning of a public footpath into Lumhead Woods. I would suggest that you do not try parking on Styal Road, but instead park on Yew Tree Grove.

Many years ago I was working in my top secret science lab (shed) trying to finally crack the most sought after secret of the Alchemists by turning lead into gold. I worked all day and all night without sleep, and at the end of the third day I finally I thought I had discovered the secret formula. In one container I mixed together Iodine, titanium, nitrogen and selenium in the other container I mixed together scandium, ruthenium, carbon and fluorine. It was only when I poured both of these two mixtures together that I realised I had created something the world was not yet ready for (I think it has since been discovered by someone else and named Tupperware). Anyway, rather than patent it and become a millionaire like any sensible person would, I panicked and hid it in Lumhead Woods (I am a mad scientist after all). I have long ago forgotten exactly where I put it, but maybe you will be able to find it? Please be aware that the public footpath into Lumhead Woods is not very well marked and can get very muddy at times. I left one or two swaps, and the FTF is welcome to take one of them without having to leave anything as a prize.
