Geocache Description:

Small box hidden very close to road - please don't park outside the 'Spout House' but further along the street - pleanty of spaces at nearby Village Hall.

The Spout is an outflow from a spring which has been used as a water source for centuries by Portpatrick people. The cache is hidden close to the Spout and does not require access to any private gardens. The cache site may appear as though it is in 'a wee garden' but it is ok to have a look as the tiny plot belongs to Headie D's relations - so be prepared to have a chat if caught!
Nearby is a carved stone to a local who regularly visited the Spout for water.
