Geocache Description:

If you plan ahead, you can get two at this location. One cache, and one benchmark.

Important: This cache is on a residential street. To protect the integrity of this hide please don't offend the residents by parking in their spots, or turn around in anyone's driveway. The best thing to do is turn around where the street is wide and park facing the other way down by the pine trees and walk back to find the cache and the benchmark. This way folks won't wonder why all these strangers are parking on their dead end street.

It is another "NO Key Holders" guardrail hide. If you take your time and look carefully (like many of mine) you should be able to take the cache with minimal hands on searching. Please put the cache back exactly where you found it.

Now for the benchmark.
Do a search by Point ID (PID): KX1229
View the original data sheet and print it out and take it with you.

The benchmark is where the old street dead ends at the railroad bridge. Follow the descriptions given on the page. There is a No Trespassing sign on the pole within 6' feet or so. OBEY IT! The benchmark is on the bridge abutment on this side of the railing. It is plainly marked with a BM and Cross paint mark next to it.

If your GPS's altimeter needs calibrated, you can do it here. The benchmark is an altitude reference. You are exactly 792.76 feet above sea level at the mark.

Sorry for all the dos and don't s but it needed said. Have fun!
