This is my first hide, I call it Chip’s Revenge, because I was introduced to this sport by Chip. One day as he was solving a puzzle cache, he asked if I had any ideas for a solution. I did have a few ideas and they did help solve the problem; that was all it took to get me hooked on geocaching, so Chip's Revenge is in honor of my new mentor, csouser.
I didn’t know what type of cache to hide or what complexity to make it. I asked my mentor what to do, and he suggested a simple cache & dash. I asked what his first hide was and he indicated a puzzle cache. So much for simplicity. In the end I just built upon the caches that I have found so far to create this multi-cache.
My goal was to create a simple multi-cache that was a challenge. The first stage is small and only contains the coordinates for the final location, so I would suggest a pencil and paper to record them. The final stage holds a cache that is larger and contains a pencil for you to sign the enclosed log.
