Mount Holly Marsh Preserve GAS SAVER Traditional Cache

TakeMeOutdoors: Simply amazing! The sign this cache was hanging on had to have been there for 30 or more years, yet as soon as I place a cache there - BINGO, Gone! Went today to attempt to retrieve the container from where I am told it was and found nothing but a jungle of ferns, weeds, PI, etc. Will probably put another gas saver here but since it will be a completely new hide style, I'll make it a new one when I get it in place. Thanks to all who found this - sorry to those who could not!

Geocache Description:


I saw this idea in New England earlier this year and wanted to duplicate it here - a suitable spot finally presented itself. While caching in New Hampshire I noticed several wooded cache hides, mostly in forest preserves, that had both a forest hide and a "gas saver" hide (nearer the parking spot for the forest hide) so to that cachers can get a "two-for-one" after parking, thus, SAVING GAS.

You will note that I used a special accessory to hang this that didn't require any "permanance"...please replace the same way so this doesn't get seen.

I tried to locate a muggle-free zone, but then had to dodge "fishermuggles" when placing the hide...so please watch accordingly!

The nice thing about this spot is that you can also enjoy the wooded surroundings IN the parking area! Have fun and breath in the fresh air!
