Geocache Description:

My first visit to this park was in April of this year. I found my 20th cache here in Stewart Park. (GC1FWGV). The tree I found the cache in had just been hit by lightning, which made for a unique caching experience. Without the tree, the cache was archived.

Well I am now happy to announce that this cache has been reincarnated, in a new form. The cache is now closer to an electricity service building beside Stewart Park (perhaps if electricity stopped this cache's heart, the nearby electricity jump-started it again?). Stew has been rejuiced.

My main reason for re-placing a cache near this park is because the park is filled with interesting places. A river runs through it. There is a significant elevation change, which locals enjoy sliding upon in winter. There's several other points of interest (see images below).

I have listed two parking choices:

P1: Parking off of Opeongo is the safest and closest parking available to the cache under all weather conditions. If you park here under dry summer/fall conditions, I encourage you to cross the concrete structure (when water does not flow over it) and visit Stewart Park.

P2: Parking here will bring you on a 250 meter walk through the park to the cache. You'll need to cross the stream, which can be done by crossing a narrow concrete structure (with steel handrail most of the way). However, this structure is designed to flood in high water conditions (After heavy rains or Spring runoff). Under dry summer/fall conditions, this structure is completely dry, as it was recently when I placed the cache. Accessing the cache this way gives you the chance to appreciate the beauty of Stewart park.

The container is a white micro-sized container. Remember, crossing fences to access this cache is completely unnecessary. This cache is not recommended for children due to the rocky and sometimes steep terrain.
