The cemetery was established in 1853. A Baptist Society was organized here in 1857 by Rev. James Woods.
When placed, the cache contained a skull, hands, ocean breeze jar candle, "Old Maid" card game, vanilla scented hand sanitizer, coin, wolverine frisbee, a warm "Hello" card, and nickel.
