Flamingo Wash Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BlueMoth: After some consultation with Dr.Safeway, we decided to archive this cache. There are two many transients and troublesome neighbors for us to keep a proper eye out, so we are opening us the spot for another cache to be placed by someone else. Thanks to everyone who hunted out Flamingo Wash and happy caching to all.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The Las Vegas valley is drained by Duck Creek, Las Vegas Wash, Tropicana Wash and Flamingo Wash. These four watersheds flow eastward into Lake Mead and ultimately into the Colorado river.

The above coordinates will take you to a view of one of the last relatively unspoiled and untouched watershed portions in metro Las Vegas.

The cache is best visited by daylight or early evening. If you come at night, you can get the smiley, but not the view.

You are looking for a cammo lock-n-lock. Please make sure the the container is fully secured before replacing it.

NB: DO NOT TRY TO ACCESS THE CACHE FROM THE WASH!. The area is fenced off by the city and No Tresspassing signs are posted. Fordham Road is the street you need to drive down.

For the FTF is a $10.00 chip from my favorite casino. I have filled the cache with outdoor, kid, and Vegas themed swag and a glass blue moth. TRADE UP OR EVEN. There is a small pen for signing the log book, it is not swag.

***Congratulations to mhdeede for FTF***
