Purkin paikka oli paljastunut, joten vaihdoin sen paikkaa hyllytyksen jälkeen. Mysteerin ratkaisutapa ei muutu, vain ABC:n ja DEF:n laskukaavat hieman. Tervetuloa taas !
Liisa ja Matti rakentavat Suomen lippua. Lippu muodostuu valkoisista ja sinisistä kuutioista, jotka sijoitetaan omille paikoilleen ruudukkoon.
Kierroksella yksi Liisa ja Matti asettuvat ruudukkoon alla olevan kuvan vasemmanpuoleisen osan mukaisesti siten, että Liisa on ylempänä. Kumpikin laittaa kuution ruutuun, jossa seisoo.
Kierroksella kaksi he lisäävät vuorotellen kuutioita ensimmäisen kuution ympärille niin, että jokaiseen tyhjään ruutuun, joka on aikaisemmin laitetun oman kuution vieressä vaaka- tai pystysuuntaisesti, tulee uusi kuutio. (Katso keskimmäistä osaa kuvasta).
Kierrokset kolmannesta eteenpäin ovat kierroksen kaksi toistoa . (Oikean puoleinen osa kuvasta on kolmannen kierroksen jälkeen).
Jos saman kierroksen aikana sekä Liisan että Matin kuuluisi asettaa tiettyyn kohtaan kuutio, Liisa saa toimia laittajana vaadittavan kuution ollessa sininen ja Matti kuution ollessa valkoinen.
Tehtävänä on selvittää, kuinka monta valkoista ja kuinka monta sinistä kuutiota kumpikin tarvitsee, että lippu on valmis?

This mystery has been changed April 27th 2021.
Someone who does not like geocaching found the final location and destroid the stash so I changed the location. Solving the mystery did not change only the final calculations. Welcome again!
Liisa and Matti are building the Finnish Flag. The flag consists of white and blue blocks which will be put into their own place on a grid.
In phase one Liisa and Matti take their places on the grid as seen in the left part of the attached picture so that Liisa is the upper one. Both of them place a block on the square they are standing.
In phase two they add blocks to every empty square which is either below or above a filled square and to every empty square which is left or right to a filled square. (See the middle part of the picture).
Phase three onwards is a repetition to phase two. (The picture in the right is after phase three).
In case they both need to put a block into the same square during the same phase Liisa can put the block there if it’s going to be blue and Matti if it’s going to be white.
Your task is to figure out how many white and blue blocks they both need to get the flag ready.

You can not see a flag at the cache site on a flagging day but going there you see it whatever road you choose.
