Cachen er tilgjengelig fra veien før passering av gammel bom. Det er nokså bratt og kan til tider være glatt med bil.


Herfra får du et flott panorama over Øyer sentrum, Granrudmoen og nordover motTingberg. OL-94 hadde slalom i Hafjell alpinanlegg her i Øyer. http://www.hafjell.no/ Kommunevåpenet viser en typisk tre ring, eller Helder, laget av tre og brukes i enden av et rep for å stramme lass av høy,staur eller kvister for transport.Et symbol for samhold i bygda. Lignende enheter ble brukt over hele Norge, men denne formen er typisk for området.
