Torpoint Ferry Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Pajaholic: Just checked following a DNF and it's gone :(
Also, the property on which this cache was hidden has changed hands and so there is no longer landowner permission. Pity as this was the first cache in Torpoint.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

An often passed yet seldom visited part of Torpoint with views across the Hamoaze to Plymouth Royal Dockyard.

The cache is a small "Lock 'n Lock" box with room for geocoins and other small items only.

The terrain rating is because the most obvious access is via a steep road or down steps, which are not the easiest of routes for pushchairs etc. However, access is otherwise easy. The cache can be reached via public rights of way and there is no need to cross private property or the beach.

For information about the ferries from which this cache takes its name, please visit the Tamar Crossings information page.

Original contents: Logbook, pencil, stash card, "Torpoint Ferry" keyring and a whistle for swaps, and a pound coin for FTF.
